Cakes, asked and answered
Two weeks for a decorated cake. That covers the bake, the fill, the crumb coat and the finish, and it means we can slot it in without pushing the daily bake around.
For orders over $250 we put together a tasting box of three cake flavours at the café, at no charge. Smaller orders can taste whatever cake is on the stand that day by the slice.
We do a vegan olive oil and citrus cake with notice. We do not make gluten-free cakes: the bench is covered in wheat flour and we would rather say no than say maybe.
Roughly. We colour with natural powders, which give softer tones than gel colours. Send a photograph and we will tell you honestly how close we can get.
Pickup at Church Street any time the café is open on the day you choose. Delivery inside Burlington is $25 and we will carry it in and set it on a stand.
