The room
The first Sunny Side opened in a narrow storefront on the marketplace in the spring of 2014 with eleven seats and one deck oven. Three expansions later it holds fifty-eight inside, twenty-two on the brick out front, and a bakery bench that supplies the other two cafés every morning.
This is the only location with a full kitchen, which is why weekend brunch and all catering production happen here. It is also the loudest, the busiest and, on a Saturday in October, the best people-watching in Chittenden County.

Church Street, asked and answered
The Marketplace Garage on Cherry Street is a two minute walk and we validate the first hour at the counter.
Dogs are welcome on the patio and tied at the railing, where there are two water bowls. Not inside, unfortunately.
The south door on the marketplace side is level with the brick. The Church Street door has one shallow step.
