The room
Pine Street took over a mill bay in the South End Arts District in 2019, across the street from the roaster that supplies all three cafés. The ceiling is eighteen feet, the windows face north, and the light between ten and two is the reason most of our photographs are taken here.
There is no full kitchen, so the menu is breakfast sandwiches, lunch, bakery and the whole coffee program. What it does have is space: a twelve-foot communal table, reliable power outlets and the calmest room of the three.
